Updates to the Level 1 Award in Substance Misuse Awareness (RQF)
In March 2019, we changed the way we assess the Level 1 Award in Substance Misuse Awareness (RQF) to multiple-choice examination. This means the examination papers now need to be sent back to Highfield Qualifications for marking by our administration department.
The change came after we consulted with centres to see how we could further strengthen our approach to assessment.
Centres are able to purchase the required learner registrations and examination papers both online and over the phone with our customer service team. Old candidate assessment packs are no longer accepted for courses that ran after 18 March 2019.
There is no longer a requirement for centres to appoint an assessor for this qualification. Likewise, notifications of completion (NOCs) are no longer required when sending the examination papers back to us.
