It’s a little over a month since we launched our new suite of first aid for mental health qualifications, and in that time we’ve had plenty of interest and plenty of questions.
So we’ve pulled the most common questions together into one document so you can find the answers you need.
Just in case you missed the launch, our three first aid for mental health qualifications have been designed so that businesses can support mental health in their workplaces.
The qualifications can be delivered in on or two days and explore how individuals can recognise their own and others’ mental ill health, how to support mental wellbeing in the workplace, promote a wellness culture, and the importance of resilience and self-care.
- Level 2 Award in Introduction to Mental Health Awareness
- Level 2 Award in Introduction to First Aid for Mental Health
- Level 3 Award in Understanding Mental Health in the Workplace for Managers
What’s more, the qualifications are recognised by Ofqual, the regulator of qualifications, examinations and assessments in England, and sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), the reference system operated by Ofqual.
Highfield has also published a video which answers key questions about the qualifications and explains their content and purpose in more detail.
If you’re interested in delivering the qualifications, you need to be a Highfield approved centre. If you’re already a Highfield approved centre, please speak to your account manager, who will be happy to help. If not, go to our centre application page to find out more about joining us.
